One million lives by 2030.
Our goal is to empower one million children and young people through scientific thinking, books, programmes and partnerships. We’ve reached 2,000+ lives so far, and we’re expanding aggressively to new communities, schools and partners.
Measuring our impact honestly
We believe a good donor or partner should ask the same question a scientist does: what is the evidence? So we explain exactly what our numbers mean.
What “2,000+ lives reached” means
We count a life reached when a child or young person has received direct, non-monetary support from STEMSUP: mentorship, guidance, an internship, design support or another structured activity. Each person is counted once, however many kinds of support they receive. As of October 2026, that number is more than 2,000.
Educational inclusion at the centre
Our work focuses on first-generation learners and children from communities with the fewest opportunities, particularly in rural Tamil Nadu. Inclusion also runs through our books, which feature children of different backgrounds and abilities learning together.
From 2,000 to 1,000,000 by 2030
Reaching one million lives means growing on three fronts at once: books that families and schools use every day, programmes in villages and schools, and partnerships that carry the work further than we could alone. The dashboard on this page shows the pace needed and updates itself every day.
