1. About these terms

This website is operated by STEMSUP Education & Environment Foundation, a Section 8 not-for-profit company based in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu, India. By using the site, placing an order or making a donation, you agree to these terms.

2. Using the website

You may use the site for lawful, personal and educational purposes. Don’t misuse it, attempt to disrupt it, or copy its content for commercial use.

3. Orders and payment

• All prices are in Indian rupees. Product descriptions and prices are given in good faith and may change without notice; the price at the time you order applies.
• Payments are processed securely by our payment partner, Razorpay, through UPI, cards, net banking and wallets. Your order is confirmed once payment is successful.
• Please give accurate contact and delivery details. We aren’t responsible for delays caused by incorrect information.

4. Delivery

Books are delivered within 3 to 5 days of your order, depending on your pin code. Digital products are sent by email after payment. Occasional delays caused by couriers or events outside our control may happen, and we will keep you informed.

5. Returns, replacements and refunds

Orders are confirmed upon successful payment. Customers must provide accurate contact and delivery details. Books are not returnable or exchangeable for change of mind or incorrect selection, subject to applicable law. For damaged, defective or incorrect books, email support@stemsupfoundation.org within 48 hours of delivery with order details and photographs. After verification, a replacement or refund will be arranged as applicable under this policy and applicable law. Approved refunds are made to the original payment method.

6. Bulk and institutional orders

Bulk orders from schools and organisations are confirmed with you in conversation before any payment, including quantities, pricing, delivery dates and invoicing. The confirmed terms apply to that order.

7. Pre-bookings and early-bird offers

Pre-booking or registering for an early-bird offer on a product marked “Coming soon” reserves your interest. We will confirm the launch date, final price and any early-bird benefit before you pay. If you have paid for a pre-booking and the product isn’t released, you will receive a full refund.

8. Donations

• Donations are voluntary and are used for STEMSUP’s charitable objects.
• All donations are eligible for tax deduction under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961. To receive a receipt, please provide your full name, address and PAN.
• Donations are generally not refundable. If you made a donation by mistake, such as a duplicate payment, write to support@stemsupfoundation.org within 7 days and we will review it.
• Book purchases are commercial transactions and are not donations, so they are not eligible for 80G deduction.

9. Intellectual property

All content on this site, including text, book covers, illustrations, guides and logos, belongs to STEMSUP or is used with permission. Books and digital guides are for personal, family or single-classroom use. You may not copy, share, resell or upload them elsewhere without our written permission.

10. Limitation of liability

Our activities and guides are designed to be safe when followed as written with appropriate adult supervision. To the extent the law allows, STEMSUP is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site or our products. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

11. Grievances

For complaints about an order, a payment or this website, contact our Grievance Officer at support@stemsupfoundation.org. We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within one month, in line with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu have jurisdiction over any dispute.
