Governance, compliance and accountability
Families, schools, donors and CSR partners should be able to check who we are before they work with us. This page brings our registrations, policies and contacts together in one place.
Registrations
- Legal form: not-for-profit company under Section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013
- 12A: registered under Section 12A of the Income Tax Act, valid until FY 2027–28
- 80G: all donations are eligible for tax deduction under Section 80G
- CSR-1: registered with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs to receive CSR funds, registration number CSR00088387
Child safeguarding
We follow a child safeguarding policy based on the POCSO Act, 2012, the Juvenile Justice Act, 2015 and the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, covering safe recruitment, a code of conduct, consent for photographs and how to report a concern.
Privacy and data protection
Our privacy policy follows the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, including verifiable parental consent before we process any child’s data. Our terms and conditions and delivery and returns policy cover orders, donations and refunds.
